What archive formats and versions work?+
We support standard RAR (including RAR 3, RAR 4, and modern RAR 5 formats) and standard ZIP archives. Direction is picked automatically depending on whether your file contains RAR or ZIP data.
Can I convert password-protected archives?+
No. Password-protected and encrypted archives are strictly rejected for safety. You can remove the password using WinRAR or 7-Zip on your local computer before converting.
What is the maximum file size limit?+
The maximum upload size is configured dynamically from the backend capabilities (typically up to 1 GB). Files that exceed this limit or expand beyond safe memory boundaries are rejected upfront.
Are my files private and secure?+
Yes, absolutely. Uploaded files are processed in isolated sandbox directories. The original upload is permanently deleted the millisecond conversion finishes. The converted result is purged after 30 minutes. We never store, index, or inspect your file contents.
